  Ich habe wirklich mal ein großes Lob auszusprechen! Es geht hier um eine ganz besonders gute Führerin, Susanne, die mir die Höhle mit tollen Geschichten aufwertete! Trotz dass die meisten Gruppenmitglieder spanisch gesprochen haben hat sie das erst auf spanisch Erklärte, in einem sehr gut verständlichen Englisch erklärt nach dem spanischen erklärt! Ein großartiger Einsatz, der eine Gehaltserhöhung verdient, liebe Geschäftsführer

  This bear cave is still active, forming stalactites and stalagmites. It is interesting for its manganese containing formations, creating different shades of grey and black amongst the commoner white and red.

  The cave art in a small dry section of the cave is limited but of very high quality of one particular period (black charcoal only).

  Less drawings then Castillo but more enjoyable visit thanks to the guide, geological info etc. The few paintings are also better since more recent. 12000 years ago!

  They have found a bear skeleton with arrow heads inside the bone, dating at least 40,000 years ago. This is on display in the museum in Santander.
