  The caves preserve an important part of human history, and are a revelation. The guides try their best to accommodate you in English, even though the tour doesn't specify it. Probably worth combining it with the other caves a few hundred metres walk away, we couldn't as well were late. Best to book online beforehand, especially in peak season. We were lucky enough just to get the last spots on the your we took. Will be going back to some of the other caves, to explore the at of our pre historic humans, and also to observe the caves, as they are just amazing on their own. For a guided tour, the cost is only 3 euros, certain sections of the caves are closed off for preservation, but many of the caves are digitised online, and in some of the books available at the gift shop.

  The site is of great archeological importance as the Abri at the entrance was occupied by our predecessor, represented in 14 distinct historical layers. Some of the artwork in the cave goes back more than 40,000 years!

  This is the real deal! Paintings up to 40,000 years old. The guides were great and the groups they let into the caves are small - so definitely book online in summer months. It feels very special and a great price at 3 euros per cave. Both caves have their merit although the first one has more paintings. The guides also spoke very favorably of the Altamira site, although there you can only see a replica. Highly recommended to come here.

  The place is really awesome. Our guide was just perfect (even though he spoke only Spanish)! The the cave is not as full of cave art as Altamira is, but don't worry: You won't not miss anything important. It's real, authentic and very intense. Also, the cave location itself is charming.

  This is a magnificent cave. You can see evidence of humanoids up to 150.000 years ago and paintings dated up to 38.000 years. A magical place

  Excellent guided visit, with good explanation in Spanish. I hope for the sake of foreign visitors that they offer tours in English in the high season. This was not the case today in April.
